The D1 Grand Prix All-Start Show in Odaiba was held on Sunday, March 28 at a specially-constructed course in Tokyo's popular Odaiba area. The competitors for this special exhibition match were selected based on their past performance, as well as by the votes cast by D1 fans. The result was day loaded with excitement for all those attending. The opening tansou championship finals was held in a knockout format, with the top five drivers from the preliminary round taking part in the final. Ken Nomura of team Blitz had a very smooth and fast drift that he held on the outside to the very last minute, winning him a perfect 100 points. The crowd probably thought he was invincible, but next up was Masato Kawabata of Team TOYOTIRES DRIFT with GP SPORTS, who had an almost perfect round with a fast, high-angle run that also won him 100 points. The rules state that, in case of a tie in the finals, the driver with the highest points in the preliminary rounds wins, so Kawabata was awarded to tansou championship. In the Dream Match Tsuisou Battle competition, matches were decided based on fan votes. Because of this, there was the unusual situation where the same driver might find himself appearing for several different runs. Of the fan-selected matchings, the much-anticipated meeting of the old and new champions meant the appearance of Yoichi Imamura of team M7 BOSS SGC with DUNLOP, who handily won the competition just as he had Round One of the series on the previous day.

Round Two of the 2010 D1 Grand Prix will be held on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday April 25 at Autopolis, Oita Prefecture.
