D1 Grand Prix 2008 Series
TEAM TOYO with GP SPORTS Masato Kawabata wins Round 1.
The Ebisu Circuit, Fukushima, was the site for the opening race of the D1GP 2008 Series, held on March 29 and 30. Last year’s champion, Masato Kawabata of TEAM TOYO with GP SPORTS, took fourth place in the Qualifying for 100 point, with speed of 114 km/h; he then worked his way up through the ranks in the Tandem to reach the finals. In the finals, Kawabata successfully met the challenge of a run-off to take the winning position of this opening race.

Round 2 Information!
The Round 2 of the D1GP 2008 Series will be held at the Fuji Speedway, Shizuoka, on Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and 27.
