Racing car / Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3

Bathurst 12hour Champion - The key to victory was due to its durability and explosiveness.

The "Bathust 12 Hour Race" was held in Australia in February 2015.
The Mount Panorama circuit, where the race took place, was a 6.213 km long special stage of closed public roads. As the course has a lot of elevation changes with a small course width, a moment of error may result in retirement at this circuit.
The race started at 5:50 in the morning. After qualifying at the 3rd position, the NISSAN GT-R NISMO GT3 rocketed off at the start and went up to the 2nd position. It finished two stints maintaining the 2nd position, and became 1st during the 114th lap.
However, as multiple accidents occurred in this race, the top position changed frequently during pit stops and safety car laps. When the remaining time became one hour at 4:50 PM, the NISMO GT3 was running in the 3rd position.
The safety car continued to be on the course after this due to accidents. The race was resumed when there was only four minutes left. At this moment, the NISMO GT3 that was running at the 3rd position successfully restarted and passed two cars from the first corner through the mountain straight and ended up at the top and finished the race. The total number of laps was 269 and the distance covered was approximately 1,671 km. The difference between the 1st and 3rd positions was a mere 2.8 seconds. The GT-R won again after 23 years since the R32 Skyline GT-R won in Bathurst in 1992.
