Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minami-Oi Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President: Shoichi Miyatani, "NISMO") launches "Cooling Menu" for the Nissan Fairlady Z (Z33, Z34) which goes on sale in Japan from July 14 at NISMO Omori Factory, NISMO Expert Shops nationwide, Nova Engineering Co., Ltd. and NordRing, certain Nissan certified shops for NISSAN GT-R.
* The rear differential oil cooler kit and kit menu products will be available from August 4.

The cooling menu lines up the engine oil cooler, rear differential oil cooler, power steering oil cooler and radiator (improved cooling performance), which are indispensable items for sports driving. NISMO has set up both a single-item menu and kit menu so that customers can select the menu that suits their vehicle specifications and driving style. Purchasing the kit menu allows customers to save on price compared with purchasing single items. NISMO has conducted not only a durability test on the components, but also a strength and durability test in a vehicle, following its own strict quality standards *1, so that NISMO can offer these components with assured quality, although they are sporty optional components for circuit driving.

The cooler was mounted in a vehicle and subjected to 2 million continuous vibrations at 3 G/25 Hz in each of the vertical and longitudinal directions, and 1.5 million vibrations at 2 G/25 Hz in the horizontal direction. It cleared the criteria.

<Single component menu>
1. Engine oil cooler kit
NISMO has adopted a genuine oil cooler core for NISSAN GT-R (R35) which is excellent in both performance and quality for this kit. The installed thermostat enables optimum oil temperature control. To enhance the cooling efficiency, an exclusive air duct and an exclusive inner fender (only for Z34) are kitted for different bumper shapes. Select the kit that matches your bumper type.

2. Rear differential oil cooler kit
NISMO has adopted an unprecedented rear differential oil cooler of a water-cooling type. A water jacket is provided for the exclusive differential case cover with a cooling fin, and cooling water is circulated to cool the differential oil in the case. A tank for cooling water is installed in a space for the spare tire, and a pump circulates the cooling water. The cooler can be switched on or off using a switch installed inside the vehicle.

3. Power steering oil cooler kit
The core of the genuine power steering oil cooler was made larger. By increasing the heat radiation calories by approximately 1.6 times that of the genuine component, the oil temperature will be stabilized even during circuit driving.

4. Radiator kit
This kit uses a genuine-specification radiator with high cooling effects that is intended for use in tropical areas. For Z33, the kit has been used as Fairlady Z Version NISMO Type 380RS, and has already demonstrated its high cooling performance.

1. Oil/water temperature full kit
This set includes all kits in the cooling menu - engine oil cooler, rear differential oil cooler, power steering oil cooler and radiator.
We recommend this full kit for drivers who will start sports driving.
2. Oil-temperature full kit
This set has included kits related to oil coolers for the engine, rear differential and power steering.
We recommend this full kit for drivers who are concerned about a variety of oil temperature.
3. Engine oil/water temperature kit
This set consists of the engine system cooling menu items - engine oil cooler and radiator kits.
We recommend this set especially for advanced drivers who drive on circuits with a high engine load, as well as for drivers who will start sports driving.
4. Engine & differential oil temperature kit
This set includes the engine & differential oil temperature kits which cause a critical point for circuit driving. It contains the engine oil cooler kit and rear differential oil cooler kit.
We recommend it for drivers who are concerned about the oil temperatures of the engine and differential oil temperatures.
