In Round 3 of the 2009 D1 Grand Prix, held at the Okayama International Circuit on Saturday, June 27, Ken Nomura of team BLITZ ended the first-round tansou competition in 13th place, with 98.57 points. Despite an unfortunate error in the semi-finals, however, he still ended the Round in third place and still defending his top ranking in the Series. Masato Kawabata also came into the race in good style, finishing the tansou competition in first place, but after the tsuisou competition ended in fifth place. It will be fun to see the competition continue as the Series develops.

Rounds 5 and 6 News!
Round 5 of the 2009 D1 Grand Prix will be held on Saturday, August 29,and Round 6 the following day, both at the Ebisu Circuit in Fukushima Prefecture.
