Nissan Patrol continues its winning run with victory at Sealines Cross Country Rally
Dubai, UAE (27 April, 2014): The latest generation Nissan Patrol has powered to a second win in its second international race, this time in Qatar's Sealines Cross Country Rally. Once again driven by Emil Kneisser, who is sponsored by Nissan, the Hero of All Terrains in Life claimed victory in the ‘T2’ lightly modified production vehicle category.

The result comes within just three weeks of Emil claiming a class win for the latest generation Nissan Patrol on its competitive debut at Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge POWERED by Nissan.

Commenting on the result, Samir Cherfan, Managing Director of Nissan Middle East, said: “To win two of the toughest desert rallies against international competition in its first competitive outings is an exceptional achievement for the latest generation Nissan Patrol. After 13,000 hours invested by our engineers developing Nissan Patrol and testing prototypes in the region before its grand launch in 2010, we knew just how tough the Hero of All Terrains in Life was. However, for Emil to have proven its ability under competitive conditions puts beyond any doubt just how well built the Nissan Patrol is to tackle the Middle East's harshest environments.”

Emil Kneisser, said: “I'm clearly delighted with the latest generation Nissan Patrol's performance. Both rallies are tough and to come to Qatar with just a short break in between was a stern test of both me and the Patrol. However, Nissan Patrol's indomitable character gave me the edge to once again bring home the trophy. I can't wait until the next opportunity to test its abilities to the limit.”
