The RC label is for production racing cars built up from Nissan production model cars, re-worked to be lighter, slick tire ready and furnished with safety equipment.

The specially manufactured suspension, riding on large sized rotors, was set to achieve ultimate weight equilibrium. With its safety equipment, such as a welded roll cage and bucket seat, safety harness, fire extinguisher and air jack, the car is delivered ready for the race track.
