At the Tokyo Drift in Odaiba/D-1 Grand Prix Exhibition Match, held in Tokyo's popular Odaiba area on June 7 and 8, Team BOSS with POTENZA D-1 Project and Team Toyo with GP Sports both collaborators with NISMO and Motul in the development of Competition Oil scored impressive results.

Yoichi Imamura of Team BOSS with POTENZA D-1 Project, who has had a steady string of strong finishes in the 2008 Series, was in ninth place at the end of the qualify on June 8 tournament with 100 points at 119kph. In the tsuiso tornament section, he kept start drifting at same time with theformer in the first corner, after the second corner he kept very infighting drift and moved to the semi-final, before finally taking the championship.

Masato Kawabata of Team Toyo with GP Sports, although having difficulty in the semi-final, showed the driving skill that made him the 2007 Series champion and finished in second place.

Imamura gave a real crowd -pleasing performance on June 7th tornament the win moves him up to third place in the june 7th tornament while Kawabata is right behind him in fourth place.
