Apprications
- Skyline GT-R (BNR34), V-Spec, V-Spec II, M-Spec1 *1
- Skyline GT-R (BCNR33), all vehicles
- Skyline GT-R (BNR32), all vehicles *2
*1 To install on a standard BNR34 vehicle, the V-Spec front undercover (Nissan Genuine part no. 75880-AA410) and engine lower cover (Nissan Genuine part no. 75890-AA410) will be required. Please purchase them separately.
*2 To install the performance damper (rear) on the BNR32, installation of the Nissan Motor Corp. standard rear strut tower bar (No. 55420-RNR20; order through Nissan) will be required, because of both performance and structural reasons. So please purchase it separately prior to installation.
- With the Tension Rod Set Pro, the tire may interfere with the fender protector (right front) and recirculation valve when the wheel is turned fully over; removal or machining may be required.
- Depending on the Tension Rod Set Pro installation, steering may become more heavy.
- Because of the change of effective length that accompanies the installation of the Tension Rod Set Pro, the tire-fender and other clearances may change.
- Please always change the linkage on both left and right sides at the same time. Within just a month after exchange the suspension balance will be lost.
- When performing maintenance on the linkage, always change all parts on one side at the same time, as well as bushings of the tension rod and upper linkage at the same time.
- After an accident or similar occurrence, replacing only the damaged portions of the linkage has the risk of placing greater strain on the other parts as well; if only the single section is replaced there is the danger of suspension balance being lost.
- When the performance damper is to be installed on the BNR34, a portion of the front inner fender may have to be cut away.
- When the performance damper is to be installed on the BNR33 or BNR32, a portion of the front under cover may have to be cut away.
