Expanded core capacity and an optimized fin pitch reduce pressure loss and maximize cooling performance. They also help reduce the burden on the turbocharger. Because surface irregularities within the side tank are practically eliminated, the intercooler allows incoming air to flow across the whole of the core. The intercooler is designed to be mounted in as vertical a position as possible. When correctly positioned, cooling performance will be even better.

- Removal of the bumper and bumper reinforcement is required.

- When attaching the unit to a car equipped with a standard bumper, some mechanical work is required (removal of the catch for fixing the grille to the bumper). The standard grille cannot be fitted as is.
- To attach a genuine Nissan optional intercooler air spoiler, some mechanical work is required on the spoiler itself.
