Skyline GT-R (BNR32, BCNR33)
Features
An expanded core capacity and use of optimal fin pitch reduces pressure loss and improves cooling performance. This also helps reduce the burden on the turbocharger as well. By reducing the variation of the cross section of the side tank, intake air flows across the whole of the core. The intercooler is designed to be mounted as vertical as possible. With this layout , cooling performance is also improved.
Application
- Skyline GT-R (BNR32, BCNR33), all models.
- Removal of the bumper and bumper reinforcement will be required.
Skyline GT-R (BNR34)
Features
While remaining the pressure loss and cooling performance equal to NISMO’s previous intercooler, weight reduction of 2.6kg (vs NISMO’s previous intercooler) was made possible by adopting new core design. By replacing from previous unit, weight at the overhanging section is reduced, resulting in better cornering performance.

NISMO Intercooler performance data
(for BNR32, BCNR33, BNR34)
- When attaching the unit to a car equipped with a standard bumper, some mechanical work (removal of the catch for fixing the grille to the bumper) is required. The genuine grille cannot be fitted.
- To attach a genuine Nissan optional intercooler air spoiler, some mechanical work is required on the spoiler itself.
