Normal sport brake pads which are merely designed to be effective only in the initial stages of braking may often lead the driver to mistakenly think that the brakes are effective as such pad actually works good when depressing the pedal even gently. In fact, pads like this only improve the initial braking sensation, and the driver is soon likely to find that the brakes slip and perform badly on rainy roads and that control is poor in sport driving. Another disadvantage of such brake pads which have a partially high μ is that in hard braking they can have a bad influence on the ABS system, resulting in poor braking feel during hard braking, and in the worst case actually lengthening the system operation distance.
NISMO brake pads are the result of analysis of the chassis, suspension and tires. Regardless of the power of the brake pedal operation, they provide a linear, stable response from initial pressing of the brake pedal to full pedal pressure-brake pads that work well as a system with the ABS.

To ensure fore-and-aft vehicle balance, the rear brake balance must be seriously considered. By optimizing the distribution of rear braking, the vehicle can keep a better position during braking.
