The BNR32, BCNR33 and BNR34....For circuit competitors who have come to love Brembo competitive calipers-familiarly known as the "Ferrari F40/F50"-matched with R-tune brake pads.
Model used in Tuning Car Battle
The "Tuning Car Battle" held by NISMO sets the lowest vehicle weight limit for tuning cars competing on a circuit-1600kg for the GT-R, 1300kg for the Silvia-a condition where overuse of the brakes in the race was almost unavoidable. The NISMO R-tune Braking Pad Pro Model was designed to meet the needs of Tuning Car Battle entrants.
Two different specifications,to meet the current driving need
Depending on the type of driving to be done, two specifications have been provided for the R-tune brake pads: RACE SPEC, which focuses on delicate control when the brake pedal is more fully depressed, and TIME ATTACK SPEC, which is more focused on initial brakings.
Special rear brake pads
In accordance with the move to a larger capacity front caliper, special rear brake pads for normal rear Brembo calipers have been developed. These show high system motion performance, without impacting front-back balance.
For the two-piece rotors of other companies
So that even more users can experience the motion performance of the R-tune brake pad Pro model, actual vehicle tests were conducted using the two-piece rotors manufactured by other companies. Used in a set with these products, the pads showed very good system performance.
Graph, change of μ during continuous laps, Tsukuba Circuit
R-tune brake pads were able to maintain a high, stable level of braking, even in continuous lap running.
- While the rear calipers are standard use, always use the pads as a set in both the front and rear.
- Caution: depending on the suspension setting and tire rigidity, the ABS may be activated when using TIME ATTACK SPEC pads.
