NOW IN CONFORMITY WITH NISSAN GT-R CAR WARRANTIES -
COMPETITION OIL type 2193Ei5W40j/1L
The result of an ongoing, joint development project between NISMO and MOTUL to perfect a genuine motor sports oil, COMPETITION OIL type 2193E (5W40) has been chosen as the GT-R's engine oil of choice at dealers and will be marketed as such from November 2012 on. At the same time, its use is recognized as being in conformity with Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. warranties for the NISSAN R35 GT-R.
In addition, COMPETITION OIL type 2189E (75W140) will be used as the differential gear oil of choice from the 2012 model the NISSAN R35 GT-R on. As the same oil is recommended as the GT-R's differential gear oil of choice at dealers for the 2012 model or earlier models, use of the oil is recognized as being in conformity with Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. warranties only for the NISSAN R35 GT-R
All parts recognized by Nissan Motor Company Co, Ltd. as “specially designated GT-R parts” as well as parts and products associated with them which bear the warranty badge shown here are officially recognized as being in conformity with NISSAN warranties. However, the actual performance of optional parts (their strength, durability, efficiency, etc.), as well as their installation or problems arising from their installation, are covered in warranties established by contract with recognized NISSAN GT-R workshops.
